Each winter, our Camp Sequoia family gathers for an annual event that brings together faces old and new in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We are excited to again be heading to Kalahari Indoor Waterpark for this Camp Sequoia tradition from December 14th to the 15th. While attending Camp Sequoia might be the high point or summit of our camper’s year, this adventure is a close second. With slides and rides, campers are able to soar above the lazy river during a weekend of fun with friends. We have two of our camp RN’s on this trip too.
We also welcome Counselor Bill, Division Director Brittany and many others from our leadership team as we round out our 2:5 staffing ratio. We love to stay in family suites and, again, are occupying the Penthouse and several African Queen Suites so that campers and staff can spend time together outside of the waterpark as well. This trip is a great way for us to build on our legacy as the first residential camp in America founded with a social skills focus.
We also love the opportunity to provide inquiry-based learning and guidance in such a fun and dynamic environment for our community. This is our most popular weekend adventure and it isn’t hard to see why. With numerous opportunities for kids to have fun and staff to craft teachable moments in a real-life situation, we are excited about our mid-winter adventure. We close enrollment on this trip on Monday before the trip leaves. If you’d like to join or have questions, please reach out to reema@camp-sequoia.com.
We have campers coming from across the mid-Atlantic region with transportation available from the DC, NYC and Philadelphia metro regions for what promises to be another amazing Camp Sequoia weekend excursion. Come join us!
