Camp Sequoia provides transportation from the Philadelphia International Airport to camp. Our transportation stop at the airport is in the adjoining Marriott Hotel lobby. The stop meeting time is selected based on family flight arrivals, so we will not be providing a stop time until the office has the flight details for arriving camper families. Please aim to book a morning flight (preferably before 11am) on arrival day. If no flights in the 8am-11am arrival window are available, please reach out to us so we can advise on the best flight to book. For accompanied minors, if there are no morning flights available, we recommend flying in the night before and meeting our staff the morning of arrival day.

Camp Sequoia provides transportation from the Philadelphia International Airport to camp for unaccompanied minors. Please aim to book a morning flight (preferably before 11am) on arrival day. If no flights in the 8am-11am arrival window are available, please reach out to us so we can advise on the best flight to book. Additionally, we do offer an overnight stay option for and additional fee for unaccompanied minors, where our staff and campers who are arriving the evening before the start of session can stay overnight with provided food and lodging. All campers designated with the airline as unaccompanied minors will be met at the gate by one of our staff members. We will provide unaccompanied minor parents with specific contact information for said staff member a few days before arrival so those details can be shared with the airline.

Camp Sequoia provides departure transportation from camp to the Philadelphia International Airport at the end of session. Parents accompanying their campers home on a flight or those picking up from the airport can meet us in the Marriott Hotel lobby. The stop meeting time is selected based on the flight departure times, so we will not be providing a time until all flight logistics are accounted for. Please aim to book a morning departure for the last day of camp (preferably between 8am and 11am). If no flights in the 8am-11am departure window are available, please reach out to us so we can arrange the best flight given your options.

Camp Sequoia provides departure transportation from camp to the Philadelphia International Airport at the end of session. All campers designated with the airline as unaccompanied minors will be escorted through security to their gate by one of our staff members. We will provide unaccompanied minor families with specific contact information for the staff member escorting their son a few days before departure so those details can be shared with the airline. All campers departing as unaccompanied minors will need a photo ID, so please provide a school ID, passport, or other form of identification if your child falls under this category.

**If your child is flying alone and is not registered as an unaccompanied minor, Sequoia staff will not be able to take them to the gate. Please supply the airline with our staff's information (which will be sent to you a few days prior to departure) and ensure that baggage fees and unaccompanied minor fees are paid beforehand to help our staff get your son and other campers to their flights without unexpected delays.

Luggage Arrival

Our camper's luggage will arrive via:*

Second Session: We will drop off our camper’s luggage at camp on Wednesday July 12th between 7:30-8:30 P.M.
Second Session: We will be shipping our camper's luggage to arrive before 7/12

Luggage Departure

Our camper's luggage will depart via:

Shipping via UPS. (Due to limited space, any campers departing from Plymouth, MD, and NJ must utilize our shipping option.)
We will be picking up our camper’s luggage when we pick him up from camp
Our camper’s luggage will be returning with him on his flight, and we have already taken care of the checked bag fees.

Due to limited space, any campers departing from Plymouth, NJ, or Maryland must utilize camp trucking. Please contact Reema with any questions.

If you anticipate that there are any baggage fees you could not take care of prior to his departure, please inform the office beforehand and send in the amount necessary so that we can ensure your son can board his plane without issue.
