Alumni

Alumni weekend trips occur once per year. Past campers all meet up at a given location and enjoy various activities together. It is an opportunity for previous campers to get to meet new staff and reunite with old friends. Last year, we went to the inner harbor in Baltimore and enjoyed the National Aquarium and indoor Ultimate Nerf Battles at the Nerf Arena, and this fall our Alumni joined us in Puerto Rico for an exciting few days of delicious local cuisine, breathtaking oceanside views like the Luminescent Bay and island hopping, and scenic cliffside castle visits and hikes. Alumni are always more than welcome to reach out and connect with us, as we love to hear testimonials and suggestions for alumni trips. Director Artrice loves to hear success stories throughout the year and believes in the value of fostering a vibrant community for our alums.

Keeping connected after graduation is important to us, so we invite our alumni to join us on our annual alumni trip. We always love hearing from our graduates as they move on to the next stages of their lives, and we love to get ideas for our yearly trips straight from our graduates.

Have an awesome idea for a future Alumni Adventure, or looking to connect with the Camp Sequoia community as an Alumni of our program? We would love to hear from you!

I just want to say that camp Sequoia was one of the best experiences I’ve ever gone through in my life. There was such an amazing community, and the camp was like no other. The counselors really cared, like loved it.JustinAlumni Camper

I think one of the best things about camp Sequoia is that you could learn by making mistakes there, and feel the gravity of your mistakes but be able to move on. I learned how to independently live at Camp Sequoia, and I would not be able to live at college if I hadn’t come. I made some strong friendships there, and I learned a lot about interacting with people. I literally could not have gotten where I was if I hadn’t come to camp Sequoia. I could not have gotten a job if I hadn’t learned about responsibility in my second year. I wouldn’t have learned how to live with people other than my family if I hadn’t done this.
